Project Description

Located along the Huangpu River in Shanghai, this development was jointly created by China Resources Land and Shanghai Real Estate Group. Encompassing a total floor area of 200,000 square meters, it comprises eight standalone office buildings. These individual structures are interconnected by a shared linear framework and arranged parallel to the waterfront. Their varying heights create a cascading formation that reshapes the riverside skyline, establishing an exemplar of low-density office complex design and becoming a new landmark in the Lujiazui area.

Lighting Solution

As a professional outdoor lighting supplier, Shone provided custom-designed in varying lengths and dimensions to precisely match the curtain wall structure. Installation positions and node details for mounting channels were finalized through on-site mock-up adjustments. Crucially, strict control was maintained over the total width, including brackets and wiring outlets, ensuring the fixtures do not compromise the facade's aesthetic integrity or visual coherence during daylight hours.

All LED chips within the fixtures were uniformly spaced during production. This guarantees near-uniform spacing at the junctions between adjacent linear lights. Both end caps utilize fully transparent acrylic, delivering superior light blending while minimizing or eliminating dark zones. This meticulous approach ensures exceptional uniformity and seamless continuity of illumination across the entire building surface.

The project customized 34x27, 25x45, 55x50 and other specifications of SHONE's linear lights to match the curtain wall structure, the installation position and nodes of the lamps were confirmed after on-site sample adjustment.

The dark area at the splice between two lamps is close to none, ensuring uniformity and continuity of light, creating a pure and simple linear light at night and showing the overall temperament of modern simplicity of the building complex.
