Guided by respect for the local environment, the designers sought lighting solutions that would harmonize with the resort's natural ecosystem. Initially, wall-washing spotlights were planned for the façade. After evaluating products worldwide, the designers chose Shone's LED wall tiles — revising the entire facade structure to accommodate them.

After rigorous sampling, Shone's crystal-patterned LED wall tiles were selected. Embedded seamlessly into the walls, they functioned as both structural elements and decorative accents.

Paired with grey walls, the white crystal-textured tiles blended effortlessly with palm trees, vegetation, and tropical beaches by day. At night, the façade merged with the resort's lighting scheme, creating an elegant ambiance that immersed guests in a serene, joyful vacation atmosphere.

2. The French Designer's Vision: "Natural, Not Intrusive"

Poetic sensibility defines true design mastery. Led by acclaimed French designer Jean-Philippe Pasquier, the resort embodied his philosophy: "Natural, not intrusive."

After selecting Shone's tiles, Pasquier personally visited Shone's showroom, taking frosted-glass samples for testing. He later sent three color swatches matching the resort's natural palette. Shone responded swiftly, iterating patterns and structures through repeated sampling — evolving from frosted/textured designs to the final crystal pattern.

3. Natural Beauty Meets Rugged Reliability

The Dominican Republic's tropical climate demands extreme durability. Facing the ocean, the resort required tiles with exceptional resistance to humidity, salt spray, and heat — rated IP67 for waterproofing.

4. On-Site Mastery: Installation, Debugging & Knowledge Transfer

Shone dispatched senior engineer Mr. Gan to oversee installation and commissioning. Despite tight deadlines and intercontinental travel, he commenced technical guidance immediately upon arrival.

Engineers meticulously reviewed waterproof wiring and construction details, ensuring flawless tile installation. Following Shone’s service protocols, Mr. Gan trained local technicians — equipping them with maintenance expertise and establishing a skilled local team.
